Bookings, payment and cancellations

 

1.1 It is the responsibility of the hirer to provide all of the necessary and correct information at the time of booking.

 

1.2 Bookings made for Teepee Sleepovers over 14 days prior to the event date will require a 50% deposit to secure the booking. The remaining payment is due 14 days prior to the event date. Teepee Sleepovers booked within 14 days of the event taking place will require full payment at the time of booking. All payment must be made via BACS and the hirer will be provided with bank details. 

 

1.3 Should payment not be made by the due date Bubble & Squeak Events reserve the right to cancel the booking and no refund of any monies paid will be given.

 

1.4 An additional £50 security deposit is required to be paid no later than 48 hours before the Teepee Sleepover is due to take place. This security deposit is refunded once the equipment has been collected, inspected and deemed safe, undamaged and usable. In the unlikely event that any of the equipment is damaged, this value will be deducted from the security deposit which can be any value up to £50. Bubble & Squeak Events will endeavour to refund security deposits within 48 hours of the set-down. 

 

1.5 Final numbers must be confirmed no later than 14 days prior to the event taking place. Any number reduction changes that fall after this time frame are regrettably not refundable. 

 

1.6 Cancellation of a booking up to 14 days prior to the event will result in a full refund of any monies paid. 

 

1.7 In the unfortunate circumstance of the hirer cancelling the event within 7 days of it due to take place, Bubble & Squeak Events will retain 50% of the full balance.

 

1.8 Bubble & Squeak Events reserves the right to cancel bookings at any time for any such reason. In the unlikely event of this happening, the hirer will be informed with as much notice as possible. In the event of a booking cancellation at the hands of Bubble & Squeak Events the hirer will be refunded all monies paid. 

 

1.9 Bubble & Squeak Events covers a 20 mile radius from Ipswich as standard. Any location booked outside of this 20 mile radius will incur a mileage fee. Should there be a mileage fee on a booking this will be quoted on an individual basis, at enquiry stage. It will be disclosed to the hirer so they are aware before confirming. Should there be a mileage cost this will be detailed separately on the quote. 

 

Delivery, set-up & equipment

2.1 The hirer must disclose the full address of where the Teepee Sleepover is to be held, at the time of booking. It is the hirers responsibility to inform Bubble & Squeak Events of parking arrangements, access arrangements and to disclose if the Teepee Sleepover will be held on a ground or upper level floor. 

 

2.2 Bubble & Squeak Events will accept no liability or responsibility if, for any reason due to uncontrollable circumstances, delivery of the equipment is not met at the agreed time. Set-up and set-down times will be confirmed ahead of the event with the hirer. 

 

2.3 It is the hirers responsibility to ensure an adult is present to allow delivery and set-up, collection and set-down of the equipment to take place and ensure there is access to the property. If Bubble & Squeak Events cannot gain access to the property the hirer will be liable for any additional charges if the equipment is held for longer than the booked period. 

 

2.4 All equipment is delivered, assembled and styled by Bubble & Squeak Events. 

 

2.5 Bubble & Squeak Events will ensure that all equipment provided is in safe and good working order at the time of delivery. 

 

2.6 Our teepees measure 100cm x 70cm and our mattresses that lay inside of the teepees measures 120cm x 60cm. It is the responsibility of the hirer to check if there is adequate space for the teepee tents. If in the unlikely event that upon arrival / installation Bubble & Squeak Events deem the space unsafe, not large enough or not suitable for the Teepee Sleepover, they hold the right to refuse to continue with the installation, remove the equipment and no refund will be made. 

 

2.7 It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the space is cleared entirely ahead of Bubble & Squeak Events arrival for the set-up. Bubble & Squeak Events will not be responsible for moving any of the hirers belongings or furniture. 

 

2.8 Once the equipment has been installed the hirer agrees to not move or tamper with the set-up. All equipment must remain inside the home at all times. 

 

2.9 The intended use of the equipment (Teepee) is to be slept in. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the equipment is used solely for its intended purpose during the hire duration. The Teepees are not to be used as a play area. 

 

2.10 Bubble & Squeak Events reserves the right to substitute hired equipment that of similar style and value without notice in the event of equipment loss or damage. 

 

2.11 Smoking is strictly prohibited. In the event that there has been smoking around the equipment the full security deposit will not be refunded. 

 

2.12 Shoes should not be worn on or around the equipment. 

 

2.13 Pets should not be allowed near the equipment for the duration of the hire period. 

 

2.14 It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all of the equipment maintains its original condition for the entire duration of the stay. The hirer will be informed in writing which items are theirs to keep. Any lost or damaged items will be charged against the security deposit. 

 

2.15 Bubble & Squeak Events cannot be held responsible for any adverse reaction to any ingredient or products that are included in the Teepee Sleepover packages. 

 

2.16 Actions including, but not limited to roughhousing, play fighting, running, jumping and pillow fighting are strictly prohibited around the equipment and may cause damage or injury. Bubble & Squeak Events will not be held liable for any damage caused or if the equipment falls through these actions. 

 

Supervision

3.1 There is to be strictly no hanging, climbing or jumping on the equipment - this must not be allowed and is the responsibility of the hirer to supervise, reinforce and monitor during the hire duration. 

 

3.2 It is the responsibility of the hirer to uphold the duty of care and supervision of all children at all times during the hire period. 

 

3.3 The hirer is liable for any damage or injury which occurs as a result of incorrect or reckless misuse of any equipment. 

 

3.4 Bubble & Squeak Events Teepee Sleepovers are recommended for children aged 6 and above. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that any children below the age of 6 are supervised at all times around the equipment. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that any children under the age of 6 are not left in the hired equipment overnight. 

 

3.5 It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the area surrounding the equipment is kept clean during the duration of hire and all necessary steps will have been taken in order to do so. We strongly advise to refrain from allowing the following items to be used inside, or closely around the equipment:

• Food & drinks

• Make up

• Pens, crayons, paints or markers
